Back to School

Found this cool picture! Enjoy!
Gaylene is off to school today and the kids go tommorow. Summer has gone by kind of fast but now that school has started normal schedules can prevail over normal teens' and childrens' schedules that force us old people to pin up our eyelids for most of the summer.
Since it's a little to wet to be out on the fields, barn cleaning along with growing two young flocks and one flock still in production keeps us all busy. This evening Gaylene and I are going to the city to look at a hot tub rental unit we are looking to purchase. This hopefully will fit into our sunroom so we can enjoy a little more time in the great outdoors. We promised Aaryn we'd rent a tub for her baptism week, but decided that since we were already looking at buying we'd save the rental. I'm so proud of my daughter who has shown a lot of growth this summer. Actually all our kids are probally the best kids anyone could have. There might be a few arguments over that. God has blessed us lots. Adison is showing responsibilty and has respect and a soft heart for his friends. It's so important to have God in the center of our lives. Some people say the God is their 'co-pilot', but I would suggest that these people change seats. It's so easy to say the God walks with me, but should we not walk with God? We've been teaching our kids that it is easier to walk along with someone than to have someone walk with them. Jayms is our youngest but man does he try to compete for the oldest. He learned alot about life this summer. His really good friend lost his sister and when that happened there was a time that even in his young age he began to understand the importance of keeping himself with God.
To our church family and our pastor couple, we are praying for you!
